Prompt Response - My favorite word from our vocab is defile, because I think it's a pretty expressive way of saying something, and adds impact when you use it correctly. Prompt Response - A time that I faced a dangerous situation was when I was cooking and almost started a fire. I was cutting vegetables while I had something in the oven, and then I got distracted. When I was doing that, I started to smell something burning and realized that I had forgotten about what was in the oven. Due to being careless, I could have started a fire that would have burned the house down. After that, I focused on what I was doing until the meal was done. Prompt Response - Something I believed as a child was that wolves knew how to use doorknobs and handles. I thought this because when I was a kid, I was afraid of wolves eating me while I slept, so I would always close my door when I went to bed.
