A time I needed to look out for myself was when I remembered at 11:30 that I had an AP Gov assignment due at 11:59. So I had to lock in and complete it before it was due, and ended up finishing it with 2 minutes left. Choosing to do it made my life easier because I didn't have to do it later.

Prompt Response - A time that I faced a dangerous situation was when I was cooking and almost started a fire. I was cutting vegetables while I had something in the oven, and then I got distracted. When I was doing that, I started to smell something burning and realized that I had forgotten about what was in the oven. Due to being careless, I could have started a fire that would have burned the house down. After that, I focused on what I was doing until the meal was done.
