A time in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship I had was during elementary school, when someone I was friends with was jealous of a toy I had. This ended up causing him to steal it without me noticing one day when I had brought it to school. I got in trouble with my parents for losing it, and didn't find out he had taken it until near the end of the school year. This caused a rift in our friendship, and he moved away later that year.

Today I read and learned about the story called The Jealous Father. It was interesting to read the story, and I enjoyed discussing it in class.

Prompt Response - A time that I faced a dangerous situation was when I was cooking and almost started a fire. I was cutting vegetables while I had something in the oven, and then I got distracted. When I was doing that, I started to smell something burning and realized that I had forgotten about what was in the oven. Due to being careless, I could have started a fire that would have burned the house down. After that, I focused on what I was doing until the meal was done.
