In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Prompt Response -
A time I felt like an interloper was when I first joined the lacrosse team last year. At first, I didn't really know anybody and would usually lag behind and not talk much. As time went on though, I would socialize more and ended up becoming friends with a lot of the team and learned that some of us shared similar hobbies.

Summary -
Today in class, we had a CommonLit to work on.

Reflection -
Today, we read and thought about the meaning behind the text The Interlopers.
