A moment when I followed what looked cool or fun was when I skipped a school study session because my friends said it would be boring and convinced me to hang out with them instead. At the time, it felt exciting and rebellious, like I was finally doing something cool. But when I did poorly on the quiz the next day, I realized it wasn’t worth it.
